Champlain Medical aims to raise the bar for health care across the board. This includes urgent care, ongoing care, and evaluations across all medical fields.

One evaluation we provide is for sleep apnea. We can assess risk for sleep apnea with a low impact, use at home technology.

First, let’s define sleep apnea. Sleep apnea is a condition in which breathing stops and starts during your sleep. There are many factors associated with this condition.  Some of the primary factors are weight, age, alcohol usage, exercise, and other lifestyle influences.

Sleep apnea can be a serious, even life threatening condition. Traditionally, people with sleep apnea are required to undergo therapy at a facility. At Champlain medical, we have developed a low impact, at home system to diagnose the possibility, or severity of sleep apnea.

It should be noted that the symptoms of sleep apnea are not limited to night sleeping. The interruption of restful sleep at night can lead to a variety of daytime symptoms including excessive day sleeping, tiredness, difficulty focusing, and a host of other sleep related issues.

In addition to noticing any of the symptoms of apnea, a spouse can often help you by observing your sleep patterns.

Sleep is essential to a healthy lifestyle. If you are experiencing any sleep related issues, please contact Champlain Medical and we can guide you quickly and affordably to the right solution for you.
